Rookie Report: Brett DiBiase

Brett DiBiase has been wrestling in FCW since 2008. A third generation star, Brett is the grandson of wrestlers "Iron" Mike DiBiase and Helen Hild, and son to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. His brothers Mike and Ted Jr. are also professional wrestlers. To date Brett DiBiase's strongest showing has been in tag team wrestling. Brett is a one time FCW Tag Team Champion with his partner Joe Hennig (AKA NXT and Nexus star Michael McGillicutty). After the loss of the FCW Tag Team Championship titles a feud began between Hennig and DiBiase. Fighting against one another the former team mates battled to a double disqualification. At the rematch Brett suffered a serious injury to his knee that required surgery. During his rehabilitation time Brett joined the FCW commentary team. Currently Brett has been working as a referee due to complications with his knee, and many hope to see him make a full recovery. Full of potential, many expect Brett to team with brothers in the near future.

Brett was the first "Rookie" Draft in the 8th round.  When asked why Brett DiBiase, Team Destiny had this to say:

"Over the past year, there have been many rumors of a stable forming (The Fortunate Sons) with, Ted and Brett DiBiase.  With Ted on my team, Brett seemed like the logical choice.  Once Brett's knee heals, I hope we see him on WWE television."

Rookie Report: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has been wrestling in FCW since September of 2010. A wrestler on the Independent circuit since 2005, his short career has been full of multiple championship reigns; most notably the ROH World Tag Team Championship (2 times) and the ROH World Championship in Ring Of Honor and the PWG World Tag Team Championship in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (under the name "Tyler Black"). With a fast and high risk arsenal of moves, Seth Rollins is a crowd pleaser and a true contender for any championship. In his short stint with FCW Seth has been able to obtain the FCW Tag Team Championship and win the “FCW 15“ Jack Briscoe Classic Tournament. Past rivalries on the independent circuit have included battles and victories over stars such as Matt Sydal (current WWE star Evan Bourne) and Bryan Danielson (current WWE star Daniel Bryan).

Seth was the second "Rookie" Draft in the 8th round. When asked, why Seth Rollings, Bastion's Boogers had this to say:

"I've seen Seth Rollins live and in action twice, wrestling for Ring Of Honor in Dayton Ohio. He was then known as Tyler Black and was apart of the faction/tag team Age Of The Fall. Both shows I was highly impressed with his in ring work and high flying abilities. He was able to leave tag team action and break away as a singles star in ROH and I feel it's only a matter of time before he does the same in the WWE."

Rookie Report: Bo Rotundo

Bo Rotundo has been wrestling in FCW since 2008. With a traditional mat based offense that defines the style of "Southern Rasslin'" and an arsenal of quick strikes Bo has become a force to reckon with. A one time FCW Florida Tag Team Champion, and a two time FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion this third generation star has gotten over quite well with the Florida fanbase. Many slate Bo Rotundo to hit the WWE scene as a member of a tag team with his brother Duke Rotundo (AKA NXT and Nexus member Husky Harris). Both are sons of Mike Rotunda (AKA Irwin R. Shyster) and grandsons to the wrestling legend Blackjack Mulligan.

When Tweez Family was asked about their selection of Bo Rotundo in round 9, they had this to say:
"I honestly do not know much about Bo's time in FCW other than he tagged with his brother Husky. I was impressed with Husky's performance while a the WWE.  I'm hoping we see the two form a tag team with-in the WWE."

Rookie Report: Richie Steamboat

Richie Steamboat has been wrestling in FCW since December of 2009. Although Richie has only been on the professional wrestling scene since 2008, he has been able to travel the world to learn the craft. Richie has trained and toured with World Level Wrestling (owned by wrestling legend Harley Race), Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan, World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico, and All Star Wrestling in England. With a wrestling style that has a good mix of striking, arial attacks, and submission holds, Richie looks to be a solid pick for WWE stardom. A handful of his moves will look very familiar to wrestling fans, as they were staple maneuvers used by his father, the wrestling hall of famer Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Richie is a former FCW Florida Tag Team Champion.

Here are some thoughts from Team Minor Threat about their round 9 Rookie Draft pick:

"Team Minor Threat made Richie Steamboat their rookie selection based on a variety of factors: first he is the son of Ricky the Dragon Steamboat and to carry on the father's name and legacy means a lot...second before joining the WWE developmental territory FCW, Richie traveled all over the country and all over the world paying his dues and gaining experience with a variety of styles. Couple that international flavor with the development he is receiving in FCW and that's a plus."
