Several weeks ago, Layla officially announced that she had torn her ACL and MCL. Several days later, she went under the knife to repair her damage knee. Since this operation, Layla's long road of recovery has begun. Unfortunately, she is expected to be out of action for at least 6 months.This week's episode of SmackDown represents the close of the WWE Capitol Punishment scoring round. Bastion's Boogers has faced the difficult decision of exactly which DIVA will replace Layla. Since the injury announcement, Brie Bella lost the Diva's Championship to Kelly Kelly on this past Monday Night Raw. This title change has made BB's decision even more challenging. After LONG consideration, Bastion's Boogers is proud to announce that their official replacement for Layla will be the former Diva's Champion, Brie Bella.
When asked, "Why Brie Bella?" Bastion's Boogers had this to say:
"Brie Bella and her sister, Nikki, have both been an important piece of the WWE women's division. With their ability to get over with the fans by being either heel or face, it is almost a guarantee they will be on television (and Pay Per View) each and every week. I am personally looking forward to seeing Brie's rematch with Kelly Kelly very soon!"-Bastion's Boogers
