WWE'S MITB ReCap

WWE's 2011 Money in the Bank PPV was without question the best PPV of the year. I would even argue it has been one of the best PPV's of the past several years. The entire show, with exception to the Diva's Title Match, was perfect. Unfortunately, Kelly Kelly looked sloppy when compared to her oponent, Brie Bells. Every match was entertaining. Even the John Cena main event was a fantastic match lasting over 30 mins. Kudos to Cena and CM Punk alike for putting their all into that match.

Smackdown MITB Winner
With 23% of the MOFW Poll votes, Cody Rhodes was looking like the Smackdown Superstar that might be the MITB winner. His exceptional performance was not enough to earn him the victory. Much to the surprise of everyone, Daniel Bryan, pulled out the victory. If he manages to keep the MITB streak alive and walk away from WrestleMania XXVIII as the NEW World Heavy Weight Champion, it will prove that the US Championship is a stepping stone for World Heavy Weight and/or WWE Champions.

Raw MITB Winner
The MIZ DOMINATED the MOFW Polls with 58% of the votes. He even tasted victory by selling a leg injury early into the match, only to return later in the match to almost grab the MITB brief case. The MITB victory was destined for another competitor, Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio claimed his victory and became the first Superstar to win the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank in the same year. His track record is beginning to hint that it just might be his "Destiny," to be the future WWE Champion.

At the end of the day, the MITB PPV was worth every penny.  Full of memorial moments for years to come, we all hope the WWE can deliver this type of performance EVERY PPV!
